I've been here twice now, the first time was a lot better than the second but it's still deserves it's 4 stars for being absolutely incredible at certain things (and just at the bottom of my road). I don't understand why it's always completely empty. If you choose wisely the food is really good!
Get the Hainanese Chicken Rice, only place I've found it on a menu in London and it's really good. The Roti Canai is really nice as well. The deep fried squid is surprisingly well done and wasn't rubbery or greasy when I last went. Last night I had the Wonton and BBQ Pork Noodle Soup, huge bowl and it was good but something about it tasted a bit... off. Not sure if I'd go for that again. I'd stick to the Malaysian dishes. Last night I had Ice Kacang for desert and it was just like I've had in Malaysia, delicious... Until I got to the tinned kidney beans and sweetcorn at the bottom... WHY??!!? (Also if you get it, share with someone/everyone, it's huge!)
They have a license but I always go for the soft drinks, the juices and ice coffees are excellent. They also do homemade ice tea which is really good.
It's basically a kind of canteen style restaurant with an amazing menu full of Malaysian and Chinese classics, good prices and friendly staff. Oh, and bring cash!

I'm quite often out in Kentish town, because of the high quality of their pubs, but hadn't found a place I was happy to pre stodge before hitting them. That is why I was very happy to find this belleh filling option.
My lemon chicken and egg fried rice, washed down with a coconut and pineapple smoothie was quite delicious. The only drawback was that all the sweetness combined did give that sickly 'too many sweets' feeling towards the end.

Looks new and clean. I walked in at lunch time and told the woman, "I want something spicy with a lot of vegetables." She recommended the Mee Goreng with all vegetables. Good call! It's a bit greasy, but it was appropriately spicy and flavorful with lots of baby corn, bok choy, carrots, broccoli, mushrooms, pea pods, and tomatoes.
Lunch special 12-3:00p of 15% discount.
Very fast service for takeaway. ~5 min.

I got the oriental chicken with black bean sauce on crispy noodles. It was SO good! I wanted to go back before I left London, but just didn't have the time.
Service was good and it seemed like a family operation where they work very hard to please their customers.
