The ELC is an awesome shop if you have children yourself, or if you have friends or family with children. They have a huge range of toys here, with an educational twist. You can get a small item such as a doll or toy car, or if you really get carried away you could end up leaving with a climbing frame and slide (this almost happened to me).
Children and adults alike enjoy going to this store as it is bright, colourful and fun. The staff are lovely and very helpful. The prices are reasonable and the quality of the stock sold here is excellent.
For me this is usually the first stop when buying a present for a rugrat.
Lego or building blocks?
Trainset or scooter?
Rockinghorse or tricycle?
Farm toys or cuddly bear?
Computer game or picture book?
The dilemmas the modern parent has to endure are endless! Luckily, the Early Learning Centre has a promising selection of toys and education tools to help parents engage, stimulate, entertain and teach their children. Heck, there's even toys to help them instill confidence and develop social skills.
The staff are friendly and welcoming, the store is easy to navigate and the prices are significantly cheaper than competitors like Mamas & Papas. In fact, the only thing ELC are missing is a coffee machine to help parents recharge their batteries!
Early Learning Centre is a fantastic shop that stocks a vast selection of educational and non educational toys for young children. This used to be the shop that I begged to visit as a child when we went to do the shopping in Birkenhead. It was and still is a colourful myriad of games and puzzles, action figures and educational computer consoles.
The prices are fairly expensive but this is a place that you know you get good quality toys with a long shelf life and toys that are 100% safe for your children to play with. They have a play area in the shop where children can test out toys that they want to play with. The staff are very helpful and they seem to know the products inside out, they were more than helpful for me when I was looking for a toy that would suit an autistic child. Five stars for service and quality!
Oh, I wish I was still young and not twenty years of age and therefore at a stage where I can no longer purchase lego and a farm set. This Early Learning Centre has a great vibe, with a friendly atmosphere and extensive child area.
I noticed kids wandering past with their parents were positively wailing to get into this place. As a haven of fun toys, computer games, mini bouncy castles, and much more, it's easy to see why.
Prices are reasonable considering the quality of the toys on offer. Although, is anybody else shocked by this market these days? Some toys are extortionate!
Staff are friendly and obviously really enjoy working in the E.L.C.
A great store.
