One review for Drury House Restaurant

We spotted the back of Drury House Restaurant while waiting in line to enter Windsor Castle, with its sign behind the restaurant identifying it as the oldest in Windsor. After spending a rainy few hours touring the Castle grounds, we were cold and starving, and walked across the street to give Drury House a try... I'm so glad we did! We started with traditional black tea (I loved the real odd-sized brown and white sugar cubes). I had the chicken pie with a cream sauce that was really delicious, and was so filling I didn't have room left over for the homemade bread pudding special I had been eyeing. The delicious food, and atmosphere with the old school dark wood paneling, cozy dining area, traditional dumbwaiter delivery of the food from the kitchen, and roaring fire made this our favorite meal during our week in the London area. I will definitely go back the next time I'm in Windsor!
