3 days of rock music, partying, mud, camping and fun with 110, 000 other people.
The typical British weather brings rain, cold, cloudiness and sun in the same weekend so it's a cause for both a raincoat and sun cream.
If you're a fan of rock music then this is the place to be every year. This weekend saw bands such as Black sabboth, Soundgarden, Biffy clyro, Metallica, Megadeath, Lamb of god, Black label society, Black veil brides, Nightwish, The prodigy, Dropkick murphys, Ugly kid joe, Steel panther, Trivium and many, many more. The general excitement in the air was infectious; The prodigy got the entire crowd to crouch down and jump up as one, Black sabboth had the whole place singing along and the standard muddy field had every one covered in the stuff.
The camping village was full of every type of tent/van you could need: burgers, coffee, breakfast, supermarket, camping gear, socks, a smokery, cafes, emergency phone chargers and first aid.
Definitely an experience if you don't mind camping and mud!
