This branch of Dorothy Perkins is rather good. Dotty P's as some of us say, has changed rather a lot over the years.
In this branch, my then man, bought me a lovely coat. It was teal with a lovely check lining. It's kept me warm for a few winters.
The staff here were very friendly and helpful as they had a red version of the coat too, but I didn't want to feel like a beacon!
I find the staff in Poole quite offhand and usually wander round and don't see anything I like.
Was in London for business a few months ago. I stayed at a hotel right next to Victoria Station and spent several nights at the station in search for food. I spotted Dorothy Perkins on one of those many trips, and was impressed with the style of clothing. When I got a chance to check out the store, I was also impressed with the prices - not too bad, even in American dollars. I bought a super cute top from the store for under $50. I could even purchase it in US dollars rather than pounds - this saved me the foreign transaction fee.
While this isn't the best location, it is right in the train station, the clothes make up for it. When I'm back in London, I plan to head to Dorothy Perkins again!
I brought a pair of evening shoes from here, they are so comfortable and value for money.
