We get our pizzas delivered from here - and they're generally quick, hot, and tasty. Just one piece of advice:
Do not order a hot and spicy with extra jalapenos on New Year's Eve. Someone in the kitchen was clearly not happy to be there....well it made us laugh! I just wish I had taken a photo.
Happy New Year!
I'm on the fence between a 3 and a 4 with Domino's as although I enjoy their Pizza's and find the delivery service offered by Domino's in Newbury to be of a good standard, I can't say the same for the store.
Haven't recently moved from the other end of town, Domino's are located at the front end of the high street now, and although in a reasonable location have no parking facilities available for those drive by customers. The parking outside is extremely limited and only really available at incredibly quiet times of the day. They do however have instore offers that aren't available online.
There online delivery service is good, generally delivering within 30 minutes of the order being placed, and the food being of reasonable quality for the price paid.
I dont think I can do a completely unbiased review for this Domino's as my other half worked there for a bit However that said i think their food is good and always hot, the prices are a bit high at times though. In answer to the parking issue, if you're there in the evenings you can always park down the back of the building by driving through the archway that is directly to the right of the shop. During the daytime office workers are parked back there too and it can get a bit tight but it's empty in the evenings!
We've always ordered or pizza from Dominos and its always been nice and hot even though i feel their pizzas are too overpriced, last week on friday we ordered a large texas bbq and we got a medium texas bbq in a large box, we phoned the store and told them that we had paid for a large pizza but they were not interested and just said sorry for that and they put the phone down, i wasnt impressed we were still hungry after eating that pizza and we were really not impressed and it wasnt that hot at all, they didnt even offer us a refund, which we thought wasnt very nice of them, we felt cheated, we will not be ordering from them again, now we've discovered that we can get two large pizzas at pizza express for that amount they are charging for one large pizza, its not worth it.
Good quality pizzas made while you wait, and always a good deal on. However, at the top end of town, parking is extremely limited either pay £1 for 'overnight' charge, or manage to grab the only 3 free car park spaces for miles.
Pretty good as far as dominos goes
