Now we all know it's hard to find good hair salons for afro hair - well I didn't know this until I started going out with girlfriend and observed her weird morning rituals and the amount of "product" she owned.

So I met my girlfriend here when she was just about finishing getting her hair chemically straightened last week. She tells me that they did a good job, they didn't have a go at her for not looking after her hair which she usually moans about and they didn't talk to her about holidays and soapstars which she also really can't take.

I find hairdressers for black women a bit of a rip off, but despite it's  really weird location (in the heart of Westminster, not far from the Ministry of Justice) it's not actually that expensive. My girlfriend was really pleased, looked pretty much the same to me....

She also managed to buy more product while she was there, stuff that is apparently hard to find. So go on girls, treat yourself and check it out.
