I had been by this cafe several times when trekking around the tourist haven of Unter den Linden.
A cafe in a car dealer? Kinda strange, no? And a Mercedes dealer, no less. The coffee must be good, but very expensive.
Finally one day I went in after visiting the Guggenheim.
Actually the prices were fine. The decor is fancy, glitzy and glamourous. And quiet! and relatively empty! Coffee and cake are good. The white wine is good. I had a glass of grauer Burgunder, the German version of Pinot Grigio, I think.
I'll bet that this cafe is usually quite empty as most people don't expect to find a cafe in a car dealership.
So if you're looking for a quite place to sit amidst the chaos of Unter den Linden, check this place out.
