Lovely local Italian Restaurant. Glad to have this in the neighborhood. Authentic Food, fresh ingredients and good service. Extremely popular, bookings recommended if you want to go in the evening.
Having just moved into the area, we were wandering around Maple Road looking at all the little independent restaurants deciding which one to try first. Da Lucio got the nod, being very busy and friendly looking.
We had a short wait for a table inside (it was getting a little too chilly to sit out, and you're basically just sat on the pavement) but soon got seated. The tables are, for an Italian, typically close together and the restaurant noisy with chitter-chat (perhaps a little too noisy).
The service was somewhat erratic, we got brought another table's meals initially and the table next to ours had their orders forgotten.
We had a pizza and Cannelloni, both of which were good. We shared a Espresso Crème Brûlée for desert which was delicious, although it appeared they had forgotten to blow-torch the brown sugar on top of it.
All in all a nice little place, that would be greatly improved with a little more care and organisation.
