Costco is a wholesale warehouse, selling many great products at wholesale prices.

If you can store it in bulk, you can buy it in bulk at often a great discount.

They also do tyre changes at great value, and make cakes and all sorts.

Most 'professionals' can be members, or people who run their own business. Check their website for more details.

We've been members for a few years now, and it's great for some things. I like being able to get some American foodstuffs (it's a US-owned company) and they sometimes have amazing deals on items for the home. Most of the people who use it have either large families or pub/restaurant type businesses, but it's useful as well for those who just want some great bargains. If you have the room for bulk buys, this place is great!

This place is perhaps not that great for the average joe because you really do need to be buying in large quantities to make any kind of saving but if you are able to store bulk items or need large quantities of items for your business, then this is a great place to be a member. Although I say that, they do some great offers on big items like TVs where they offer a life time guarantee!! Its a real mix of items from nappies to TVs to food items like huge dulex cakes! Its definatly interesting to walk around. A member can go in with non-members so if you are not eligible to become a member yourself, find someone who is and tag along with them.

As long as you're a member and buy in bulk, it's good. Plus the tv's and tyres are priced well.

Costco is great. I used to think that you could only be a member if you had your own business but this is not the case, though trade members do have slightly longer opening hours in which to shop. As long as you are employed in a certain category of work, NHS, banking etc you can join, you simply take id and a payslip with you and then have your photo added to a card. You can add partners on and even add a friend on to take benefit at a reduced cost. The store itself is massive, their refund policy is fantastic and they often produce a leaflet announcing their special bargains. I think I have enough toilet rolls for at least a year, but I'll buy more if they are on offer again!! The foods are always a really high quality, their cooked chickens are a fantastic buy and the meats in general are in my opinion, tastier than from the supermarket and the price is extremely competetive. I have never been disappointed with anything from here, and there is a cafe on the way out with some reasonable prices if you want to rest for five minutes.
