Costa Coffee

This branch of Costa Coffee is in the center of Oldham, right next to the Integrated Care Centre, or in layman's term 'that big, blue tall health building' it is a Costa branch in its own right, serving the full menu and is accesiable through enterences on street and hospital level.

Inside, the decor seems a typical Costa, and is around a similar size to Costa's other branch in Oldham, in the Spindells shopping mall.

The staff here didn't seem too helpful and struggled to offer reccomendations, such as with the Starbucks Cold Brew. I eventually opted for a Large Iced Americano with Vanilla.

The drink just tasted very poor, the coffee tasted really bad and it just wasn't a pleasant drink, it was so bad I even had to ask for milk to go with it, to make it sweeter and remove some of the terrible flavour.

Even as a coffee lover, I can't help but admit the coffee quallity at Costa is quite poor, and this was a poor example of that.

While sitting, I even noticed people just leaving with there drink half full, simply not being able to stomach it, and I had to do the same, my drink was so bad it just ended up in the garbage, which was a shame.

While in Oldham, i'd strongly reccomend avoiding this branch of Costa and perhaps visiting a smaller chain such as Rhode Island instead, and I sadly feel this branch deserves a single one star.

Again i'm finding it hard to review major high street chains, so i'l start with the base line of 3 stars.
The decor is the same as any Costa, the coffee tastes the same as any Costa. Where the difference is, is the service.
The staff where friendly, and enjoyed a joke or two while serving. (extra star)
As usual theres free wi-fi & comfy seats !

Always very helpful and a relaxing place.Decore is standard Costa,but is very well situated either for the bus station or the Integrated health centre.
