The stay was lovely I had a comfy bed and a sizeable room, the dinner was delicious I ordered the bbq chicken wings for starters I rate them an 8 out of ten perfect portion for me and lovely bbq sauce I then ordered the coppid beech burger I rate it a 6 out of ten it was nice but the meat was a little dry and the bun was very soggy I didn't try the chunky chips as I swapped them for dirty fries which were delicious, the in the morning I came down at around 8 in the morning and had breakfast I ordered the full English which included tomato's ,mushrooms, beans, bacon, sausages, hash browns and I asked for scrambled egg. The egg was soggy and the bacon was dry the sausages and hash browns were very nice and personally I don't like tomatoes or mushrooms I I didn't enjoy that, it was all cold my whole family asked for theirs to be reheated,

The best thing about this place is the price. Really good price for what you get.

However, don't bother getting there early! It's £10 an hour if you want to check in before 3pm. I've stayed at a lot of hotels and have never heard of this before.

The food we purchased was excellent, although the service wasn't up to much.

But even at a great rate, I'd never go back. Just unimpressed with what could have been a great little hotel.

The Coppid Beech is 4 star hotel variously described as Swiss chalet or Alpine style hotel on the edge of Bracknell near the end of the A329M and the M4. The 200 room hotel is has an AA 2 rosette restaurant, a night club called Après. Downstairs there is the usual hotel bar, an Austrian 'Bier Keller' and a Health Club downstairs with an air-conditioned gym, sauna, steam room, sun beds, spa bath and two swimming pools.

There are some nice design touches, like a triangle of three large fish tanks on each of the bedroom floors near the lifts which form a Toblerone-shaped light-pipe going into the reception area. The rooms have a lot of pale wood, adding to the Chalet-style décor.

The breakfast buffet is extensive, and the toast arrived quickly and wasn't burnt. I didn't try the main restaurant for an evening meal, but a colleague described as fancy and overpriced, and that is how the menu looked to me.

The car park circles the hotel, so there is plenty of it, but it still gets busy; there are very visible security staff walking around the car park.

Overall I enjoyed the stay, but I don't think it is as good as it could be, not sure why!

Coppid Beech is a decent hotel in Bracknell (suburbs of London) with lots of amenities e.g. gym, 5 restaurants onsite, conference rooms, etc but the only thing that it needs is a renovation - the rooms look outdated with old furniture, CRT TVs and my room had a remote control that didn't even work. The TV also doesn't have very many channels and i could only find 1 channel that wasn't sports related. Also, the room service menu is lacking.

If they would put more investment in the customer experience, i think they could really raise their star rating. But that aside, if you're looking for a good bargain in the suburbs of London, this ain't a bad place.

I don't think I'll be doing much driving in England. Bracknell is the land of the roundabouts, the roads that circle around-and-around until you choose one of four possible roadway. Well, in the UK you drive on the left, your steering wheel in your rental car is to your right and the stick shift is to your left. So, every time there's a perceived emergency, I find my self lunging for my car window controls. It's a miracle I didn't get deported.

I was working for a high-tech company with a design-center in Bracknell, and I was visiting doing marketing stuff, so this a bit dated. Nothing against Bracknell, but as in my home town of San Jose, bedroom communities like ours' don't often offer much after-work activities. So, when our English admin said that I was staying at "Copa Beach", I envisioned fun in the sun, sand, rum and rumba with the English girls somewhere hidden in the community. Nope.... My North American ears needed English articulation listening training -- she actually said that I was staying at the Coppid Beech Hotel. My bad.

The Coppid Beech Hotel is in Berkshire, with many guest amenities with comfortable, a bit dated bedrooms; there's a nice bar downstairs, but the menu was a bit limited. Hey, but I was here for work. It also has some meeting and conference facilities--which we didn't have to use.

My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon in August. They had a dance weekend on here, and we met at Jive lessons, so it seemed appropriate to have a dance holiday as our honeymoon!

They were really nice and upgraded us to the honeymoon suite, and the hotel was always clean and rooms well presented.

The only reason I didn't give the hotel 5 stars was that there wasn't much variety on any given menu. Some evenings there was nothing we really liked, and others we wanted to try everything! However this may have been because it was a buffet, specifically provided for those on the dance holiday.

The hotel could do with a little modernisation, but on the whole it is comfortable and provides the essentials. Breakfast is good, but as a recurring visitor, the Bier Keller Menu provides very limited choices, a few specials wouldn't go a miss, or additions to the main menu would be well received.

Last year i was in the Coppid Beach for 1 week. Well i think this is a typical british hotel. The breakfast was typical. The rooms are well suited and for me a little bit heavy furnitured. Why not 5 stars.

The Problem is after 6 pm you have no chance to go somewhere. There is nothing around the hotel.

But i think, if i have to go again to Wokingham i will chosse the Coppid Beach.

This is an impressive hotel! Designed to look like a chalet it has the wow factor! The staff are well manered and smart, the rooms are large with slightly dated decor but still impressive. The cleaners are patient and no need to hurry to vacate your room, its generally used as a stopover for business travellers but is also great for a mini break as it has many facillities.

We really like this hotel. We came across it whilst trying to find a hotel that would accommodate a family of 5 in one room, which with a suite this one does very comfortably. Very friendly staff, great buffet breakfast that suits everyone. We use the leisure suite after breakfast for a swim and Jacuzzi and steam room as its available for guests. When we first came we thought they must have got it wrong when they charged us £107 all in! So we keep coming back to take full advantage of this family rate. Very convenient for Legoland and Windsor. Marked as a favourite on TomTom immediately. If I had to find fault, general maintenance could be improved and as such the review is missing another star.
