Great eggs, coffee and they serve hash browns (potatoes) with breakfast.
Comfy and welcoming, very friendly and helpful staff - made my special gluten-free eggs florentine + bacon with no fuss.
Will definitely return for what is possibly the beast breakfast in Oxford.

I really just stopped in here briefly for a coffee, and sat outside because it was a nice day and I like to fight off ravenous pigeons while I enjoy my cappuccino.

This place is clearly really highly thought of and so I feel pretty bad just giving it a three stars and dragging the score down.  The service was good and it wasn't too expensive.  I suppose my criticism is that my cappuccino had, at most, three mouthfuls of coffee in it.  It did taste pretty good though.

    Two words : Amazing scones!

We stopped by here to kill some time while waiting for my bus to heathrow since the café is right behind the bus terminal. I got the café late and the scone. The service was pretty quick. The scone I got was so delicious. It was warm and crumbly and tasted even better with the clotted cream and jam. Yum!

One quick tip - the bathroom has a sign that says 'manager' on it. In case you need to use it!

Nice little local cafe to do some reading or just hang out with a friend.

Ok, I didn't get any coffee because I don't like coffee, but I did get hot chocolate and it was gooooooooood.  The barista asked if I wanted marshmallows and I said sure.  I got my chocolate and I thought "Where are my marshmallows??"  Turns out the little candy like thingies on the saucer of the cup were the marshmallows!!  They were like little candy canes, but mushy and super good.

They also draw little designs in their coffee from the looks of our drinks which is a cute touch.

They have little snacks if you have the munchies when you arrive or are doing a long stretch of work and feel the need to eat.  I think it's funny they sell Jones soda as it's Seattle based company.  Nice seeing something from the States that's not Coca Cola or something.

Students get a 10% off discount if you show valid ID ... sweet!  They also give free wi-fi with a purchase for 30 minutes ... there's an additional fee I think if you want more than 30 minutes.

    All around nice spot ...

Amazing iced mochas and peach iced tea. The brekkie bagel - basically the kitchen sink of delicious on a bagel - is outstanding, although you may have to wait upwards of 30 minutes to get it on a busy morning.

Perfect for a quick takeaway, but make sure you have enough time if you're staying for eats.

Combibos is, hands down, the best coffee shop in Oxford. It is such a nice alternative to the big coffee chains, and run by an adorable family! I was reading for my MSc at Ox from 06-07 and I would write all of my essays here. They give you free internet with purchase and are very focused on the welfare of their customers. I remember one time I went off to the bathroom and one of the people working there stood by my laptop because she didn't want anyone to steal it. It's located in Gloucester Green so you're able to avoid some of the crazy traffic from the High Street or Cornmarket. Go for a visit ASAP!

The best and most chilled out coffee shop in Oxford. Great breakfast I always but the waffles and come with a tea or coffee only £3.99. The prices are really reasonable.
