Went for what turned out to be a very relaxed late Sunday lunch/early dinner, just as most of the lunchtime crowd were leaving. A few things missing from the menu, but they managed to ship a sea bass from their Ongar branch for my dining companion!
The food was uniformly good, service friendly - looked like you'll need to book at busier times. A little more expensive than the typical chain restaurant, but we'll be returning!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Gerald S.Nanuet, United States016812 Jan 2013
Tried the Clocktower this afternoon for lunch. Had a very nice meal. Coffee was good and staff was very friendly. Nice interior, well kept and clean. Price was excellent. Easy walk from within the town.

They have recently refurbished the clocktower which it needed. We had a set menu for a friends bday so I wasn't expecting great food but to my surprise it was lovely. Its pretty small inside and the atomosphere is a lot to be desired but its ideal for a quick lunch or a group of people with the set menu..
Breakfast's are tasty!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
