I frequented this place when I was staying nearby and found my way back on my latest trip. The service has always been great and the prices were reasonable (moules-frites for around 11 euro). I like people watching on the bustling street that it's on.
Paris isn't a cheap place, but there are a few little spots to get an easy bit to eat that won't break the bank and Clichy's is one of them.

Clichy's Tavern was exactly what I needed at 03:00 when not much else was still open, I needed a good beer and was craving a crepe beyond words.
The location is busy but the service is good...with plenty of cramped outdoor seating. It is pretty touristy as far as places like this in Paris go...but it certainly wasn't bad.
The prices were right, they were open very late (we stayed well past 04:30...I think) and the waiter was completely pleasant. I also loved their beer selection. 134 bottles and 15 on tap!
If you are looking for something late night that can be your beer and snack fix...this is a solid choice. It's near the Metro and a handful of hotels.

I don't think this place is owned by Arsenal's Gael Clichy, but I am sure even he would not turn his nose up as this place is really unique and a pretty cool bar to visit.
Unlike many French bars and restaurants this place is the proud stockist of 15 draft lagers from around the world. Beers take centre stage at the Chilcy Tavern. All the wall space is taken up with posters and promotional material for beers of every nationality. They stock bottled beers from 30 countries. The deal I took advantage with offering a pot of mussels and a large beer for 10 Euros was fantastic value. Service was brilliant, the other food I saw come out like Pizza and pasta looked good and I really enjoyed my visit. I love the way that even though there was an upstairs I sat in the (very warm!) conservatory front borrowed from the street. From there it was great people watching and daydreaming as the rain hit against the windowvery Paris I thought.
Worth a visit if you want a beer and a snack around Montmartre, Pigalle, Moulan Rouge and the 18th Arroundissment. Oh and if you see Gael at the bar during the off-season say hello from me to the Arsenal and French International full-back.

We had a sensational time here on our last night in Paris. It's just a short walk from the Moulin Rouge. A great beer bar, they had several hundred varieties to try. Mostly Belgian and German, but they had a little bit of everything. Best beer bar we found in Paris. Great moules-frites and an excellent bar staff. We would go back here on any return trip to Paris.
