Great little cinema and shows the latest films . Why go to Didsbury or Chavport , more people should go to Cinemac because if it went under it would be a real shame . A real gem. Sound can sometimes be a bit dull, might be the dynamics of the building.
We went as a family recently to this quaint cinema at the top of the Heritage Centre in Macclesfield. There were only a few other people in the cinema at the same time as us and it was easy to find a seat! It can apparently seat 280 people. Generally it is not necessary to pre-book.
It is a simple cinema, with fairly basic seating. None of the luxuries we take for granted in modern cinemas, but it was nevertheless a comfortable experience.
Tickets are the old fashioned sugar paper tear off type of affair, and there is a basic, but fairly reasonably priced shop to purchase the compulsory sweet snacks!
It doesn't get overly dark while the film is showing and therefore could be a great place for a child's first cinema experience.
It was like stepping back in time, but well worth the experience.
Mondays are cheap days and tickets are only £3.00! Parking is close by and convenient. There is a lift for disabled access and suitable toilets are provided too.
