Chiquito Mexican Grill Bar

I and my sister shared for starters the Queso Fundido (if that's how you spell it), absolutely amazing, took a bite of the bread mixed with the QF and holy.... it was like biting into a punchy yet slightly spicy cheesy mix but I'm guessing that's what this is! (My first time!)

For mains we had - Burrito - beef chilli with hot heat and some skin on fries, firstly this was amazing, a typical Mexican style Burrito, nice and warm, really tasty to! The guac really added a nice earthy bite!

Sister had three tacos loaded with pulled pork and chicken again; she said they were tasty, the cheese melted on top adds a real nice topper flavour!

For desert I had a Chocolate chilli tart, really weird for me however, a nice soft tart with a heavy chocolate taste and the chilli hits the back of the throat with the aftertaste, adds for a nice spicy bite!

A drink to share we had the Chupacabra, a nice rum heavy drink with fresh flavour and a dang hit to the throat!

Overall a nice evening topped off with a Mexican Sombrero to take home

Much better than other Chiquito's i have visited in other towns and cities.


The staff were pleasant and the standard of food was pretty good too!

I love Chiquitos, but this restaurant is a really poor example. Been there twice, both times I vowed never to return (although I probably will, just to see if they can do any better!)


Ordered a lightly done pizza for a 4yr old, it came out burnt. Sent it back, they sent another burnt one.


Ordered fajitas with no onions, they sent it out with onions. Sent it back, they sent the same one with most of the onions scraped off. I could list more mistakes but suffice to say it's really poor.


The chain itself is good, it's just this restaurant that I'd say you're best to avoid. Try Old Orleans across the road if you fancy tex-mex, it's far better!

One of the few places that selld mexican food within sheffield. A great atmosphere and great food. There is often music playing and it can be quite noisy. The food is really tasty but can be quite pricey if there are quite a few people. Expect to pay around £12 for your main course.

Ive only really been once, so this is based on one meal. The food was really tastey!! and at good standard!


I think it is ment to be a family environment, but when i went the music was quite loud.


The staff are really polite and friendly, GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. It is clean and a nice place though.


However, I do think its expensive!
