This review is for the castle grounds only. We didn't go inside the castle, but it was such a beautiful day in Nantes that we couldn't be bothered to stay out of the sun (and my tan proves it!).
The grounds are perfect for a picnic lunch, sitting around and chatting with friends, and finishing your remaining two bottles of cider (which you may or may not have purchased for the sole purpose of drinking in public). Additionally, as of this review, I am currently the Duchess of this castle. I think it's appropriate. :)
Certified Musée de France, the Nantes History Museum is conceived for a wider public. Its contemporary museography offers a new look to this historic monument.
With numerous multimedia aids, the collections are displayed in a chronologically and thematically-oriented way. I travelled through time in the blink of an eye thanks to the multimedia technology. It's a modern museum that provides us a brand new visiting experience. Besides, numerous cultural events are held in the Castle all year round.
