I really like this library! They have a great teen section and kids section and is a really nice place to just go and read. They are bench like places to sit and also some big comfy chairs. The library is pretty big on a couple of floors and has a great selection of books.

The library also hosts basic computer courses that you can sign up to, as well as free internet access and printing facilities. I used to come and study here when I was in 6th form. It's a nice quite space to study with a decent sized desk and small lamp.

The library is in an excellent place, very easy to get to and the best of the libraries in the area!!

Who says you need to go to a Library, just to study. Take walk with me. As you enter straight away you see this huge space in front of you some times it's taken up with old ex library books which are on sell. Some times it's just an empty space so you have room to breathe.

Ground Floor is for the cuties, because they have a children's section ranging from baby books to post toddlers, toddlers all the way up to teenagers. That's on your right as you enter. On your left they have the adult section range of books from a range of authors weather you're a romantic and love to be swept away by love stories to if you're a vampire waiting to feed on the next best horror book. Maybe there are a few basic skills you want to improve, there are books to help with that and the best thing isthey are just so simple.

    First Floor:
Exhibition Area  Asians history as well as present one of they're focus is around 'The oldest and most famous highway in the Indian sub-continuant'.
Gloucester and York Rooms  Two rooms used for meetings, public meetings, fun events for family and children.
    Toilets.

    Second Floor:
Reference Library some where you can study, read the newspaper surf the internet.
Redbridge Museum is on this floor which gives you the history on Redbridge, Gants Hill Dagenham, Wanstead Park with brail translation and touch screen information.

As local librarys go this one is pretty good. Spread over many floors it quite distinctive and has lots of services for people of all ages. Even has a local museum of ilford. The reference library is very good and about the same of most library in this class. On the ground floor they have a lively main area and you can use pcs if you wish. Also they rent out other media of most of librarys now like cds and dvds.
Its location is right of of them main high street and has a car park very near by

I like the central library, its so big and you can just relax, sit near the windows and just read your book. They have books on sale at times at cheap prices. I enjoy going in there and always find books easy to find.

A good old fashioned library with lots of books, you don't have to wait and order them, they'll more than likely be on the shelves. Great reference section, lots for family historians, nice local history section. Has good access, lift to all floors, near to car park and bus route.

This is a nice place to go and read, but also a great place to study. There isnt that great of a selection of the books that i am interested in i.e design, but its still a good place to go if you're after some quietness and peaceful areas. They also have computers for you to go on the internet.

This is a very good library. It is actually one of the best that I have seen in east London. It is quite modern has computer facilities but the only downside is that it doesn't have wireless internet access. It does have a large section of books to cater for everyone's needs and also a museum exhibition. The toilets are also kept very nice and clean too and are located on the first floor. There are also rooms which can be reserved specifically for meetings and I think I saw a church congregation in there at one point. It is near the Ilford cinema and not too far from the high street.

Very big library with loads of books, old style library that gives you a genuine feel to keep quiet but also you feel like your a apart of history. They also have very modern, comfortable chairs and window-side seats where you can relax and ready you book. There's a children's section, an exhibition area, meeting rooms and redbridge museum is on the 2nd floor. This is a great resource best library i have been too- great place to use for people of all ages! the librarians are extremely friendly and give you a strong community feel that makes you proud to use such an old but amazing library!

Libraries in London Boroughs are ugly to say the least and this one is't any different. It's quite well stocked and staff are helpful but there's really nothing special going on here.
