A group of 5 of us went with little idea of what coasteering would be. The instructors were friendly, knowledgeable and there to ensure we all had a good time.
We were taken out for about 2.5 hours with another group (so 10 people in all, 2 instructors). Despite it being mid-October, the provided wetsuits and protective equipment really kept us warm and the cold Pembrokeshire air was not an issue. The activity started with a safety brief, and the we went straight out onto the rocks where we gradually progressed through a series of jumps, funnels, and slides which got gradually harder. This all culminated in jumping off of a man made wall into the Blue Lagoon - a deep ocean blue bay. All whilst seals frolicked and basked round us.
We were 5 guys in our mid-20s, but they accommodate for all ages. Apparently even taking out a 76 year old. Highly recommended.
Really had a fabulous time down with you guys at Abereiddy. It's difficult to keep visiting youngsters amused, once the usual attractions have been exhausted Already I'm getting emails asking when they can visit again and go Coasteering! Not bad considering the only contact I usually get is the odd like on facebook and im bored in Birmingham. Thank you again for keeping the troop entertained, it was one of the few nights they all slept soundly! Really worth the visit and no doubts, will be back very soon. Cheers!
What a cracking way to spend the afternoon. Just the right level of challenge and fun for a stag do and everyone's adrenaline levels kicked up. Great
