Membership is an expensive £40 average a month, but you get a top of the line gym, TVs, bar, pool, jaccuzi and sauna for that, so it's worth it. Staff are very friendly too.
I never found the instructors very helpful - they tend to enjoy posing around and flirting with the women, but everything is self explanatory anyway.
When you're on the treadmill you can listen to the radio or watch one of the huge TVs in front of you which passes the time and takes your mind off the pain!
This Gym complex is small but has everything in it. The classes are ideally timed, the pool is clean and cooling after a hard session in it's newly changed workout room. This complex can also boast of having a steam room, sauna and jaccuzzi which is a little bit of luxery. The staff are always helpful and will give advice on how to work specific parts of the body.
The only negative i have is that parking is sometimes difficult on a wednesday when the local cinema has special offers.
I find this gym clean, with very friendly staff that have only ever been really helpful to me - so i cannot really complain. Often the parking is a problem because it is on a large site with various attractions. I find the gym very central and very easy to get to. Other gyms are not as clean as this one - and it provides other attractions such as sauna and steam room which are idel after a cold day at work or in the typical plymouth weather of wind and rain!
This gym is centrally located although being placed in a busy entertainment park causes occasional problems with parking if you intend on using the gym in the evening. The gym has lots of cardio machines with large tv screens to take your mind off the pain! The pool is of a reasonable size and there is also a steam room and sauna for when you need to relax after a workout.
