This is one Caffe Nero that always feels relaxed and free. Its location and interior certainly play a huge role. The huge glass windows on the bottom and top level create the feeling of space as the view expands on Piccadilly and Ducie Street. Of course, sitting on the top level is best, especially if you can get to view Manchester Crown Court. But even looking at Malmaison Hotel and Patisserie is quite enjoyable. They have fantastic leather sofas, and make awesome milkshakes. My favourite ones are vanilla and mint... yum!
Pretty standard Nero stuff. Fast, efficient and reasonably personal service. Airy and bright location.
My espresso today was over hot though not so much to spoil my enjoyment. It's great that water is available on the counter - it would be so much better if glasses rather than paper cups were available.
Perfectly acceptable for a quick cuppa on the run.
