Its great! You can get a big fried breakfast and tea for 4.40. Love the artwork too.

I used to go here quite regularly, when it was much better. The quality, quantity and service is so inconsistent you can never know whether you are going to enjoy it. It seemed to get worse as time went on and the proprietor would never seem to acknowledge or understand basic requests. I've been servied cold chips, almost raw, inedible bacon, inedible sausage and inedible egg, although not all at the same time.
I twice asked for the fried eggs to be turned for a couple of seconds and would like them to still be runny. They arrived completely burned! Obviously I didn't eat them and when I paid and mentioned that the eggs were burned and not as requested the proprieotor just looked at me and said OK, as though it didn't matter and he didn't care. I have also eaten their 'specials' which I was never impressed with - all like a mush with out any real texture or distinctive taste. Their pasta dishes used to be exteremly good but then became very greasy and pasta was often undercooked or over cooked. Their baked potatoes were probably the most consistent thing on their menu, regarding the quality but the thing that was very inconsistent here was the size of the portion. Sometimes you'd get a huge portion and sometimes a tiny portion. If you're in the area and want a full English fry up you might be lucky and get a decent meal. If you want to be sure then go around the corner to Cafe Daylan on Wentworth Street, which used to be awful, but has since been taken over and their food is much better and consistently decent.
