Visited here for the first time yesterday & was really impressed. The centre is very modern and looks great. It's spacious inside and seems very professional. There are a wide range of classes and various levels of membership available. You can also choose to pay as you go which is a great way to try it out. The pool looked good. I tried out the salsa aerobics class which was fun, popular and the instructor was great - full of energy and enthusiasm, and it was a great class.
The only downside is that apparently the "spa" bit - jacuzzis etc - is closed indefinitely.
The aqua aerobics here is awesome - I've tried many at local gyms in this area and they're all awful - Donna is the main teacher and she gives you a dance routine in the water. Really fab. Also the Buzz Zone is amazing -brand new and really nice play area especially for littler ones
This is the perfect place for children to run around and make lots of noise while learning and interacting with other children. It's an exciting maze of activity with inflatable slides and ball pits. Children have their name and age written on a badge which encourages them to start talking to each other and it's hard for any child not to get involved. It's also a great way to keep them active after all the time spent in front of the computer or television. In view of the play area is a waiting room with tables and chairs for the adults to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee while the children play safely. I've always found it easy to park, a cheap day out and loads of fun for the kids.
Nice gym, but absolutely idiotic staff who can't see the wood for the trees and have no interest in members as members, but merely as money making machines. Tried to get them to do a bulk discount for booking a hall, but all I got was the standard we charge what we charge response. Absolutely no common sense, and lost themselves £100 a month because of it.
This club has all the infrastructure to be a decent centre but unfortunately is it ABSOLUTELY FILTHY. Last time I visited there was a used tampon floating in the deep end of the pool. I pointed it out to the guards and they eventually removed it after lots of consultation. The changing rooms and showers are absolutely disgusting. The tiles have what is obviously months if not years of grime on them, the showers are scummy and there was even a family of little water flies living in the floor vent of one of the toilets. It's such a shame because the centre itself is quite pleasant but the management must be totally useless to allow such filth to build up.
had a swimming pool party for my daughters 1st birthday. was the best party i could of had for her all the kids had a great time and so did the adults. the food was lovely and the staff couldnt be more helpful. great value for money.
