Had a lovely relaxed sunday lunch here. We did book ahead and forgot to mention a disabled guest but it wasnt a problem for them. They dealt with it calmly and just asked new seated other guests if they would mind going up to the gallery.
4 of us had the roast (childs portion for elderly guest) and puds and drinks came to around £50. Great hot food. Nothing too much trouble and calm atmosphere.
Save room for pub though. The chocolate lovin' spoon cake was awesome and the bread and butter pud delicious in a pond of custard.
Have visited this place many times. Always delicious food. Recommend booking ahead for their lovely Sunday lunches and I agree with Georgina, the desserts are my favourite bit! It is a more adult place but often see large families there on a Sunday.
They are back to their usual high standard after the place being gutted by fire not so long back.
This pub / restaurnt is open seven days a week and offers a wide range of food on their menu. A nice pub if just to sit outside and have a drink or for a sunday roast.
The menu is massive and there is a page of chicken dishes, a page of various steaks etc and many vegetarian dishes, there id definitley something for everyone.
Also the deserts are fabulous! It is a family place but in the evenings there tends not be many children there and is suited more to adults.
Denby village is lovely and there are some nice walks in the area and a couple of parks.
Been many times and everytime its delivered. Great food at great prices.
