My husband and I came here to satiate our Korean BBq craving. I must say it was good. Not as good as the one I had back in LA and NYC but its definitely much better than what I had in London. They pretty generous portions of the meat here which consist of the usual bbq pork ribs, squid, shrimps and bulgogi. Though I wish I knew ahead of time to order more of the bulgogi and pay the extra €€ difference. I found this out of course after our meal. I also liked the fact that they have unlimited banchan available on the salad/buffet table as self service. The selection of the banchan is also pretty good which includes: glass noodles, rice paper, lettuce, kimchi, sea weed salad and much more.
As for the service, the waitresses were attentive and friendly.
Overall, its a thumbs up for me. I am sure to go back here and will recommend it to our family in friends in own.
Like many of the good spots in Germany, be sure to call ahead to reserve.
This place is delicious! I've been longing for authentic Asian food while living in Germany, and this place delivers for Korean BBQ. It's 19€ for a set menu of an assortments of meats and seafoods. I also love the fact that the all you can eat banchan is self serve.. (it helps my pride when the waitresses don't fully know just how much I can eat :) ) The meat is okay quality, and thinly sliced, but the marination for bulgogi was just spot on! It was delicious! Loved the spicy tof soup too :) YUM!
Having eaten at another Korean restaurant on the weekend before I went with a group of yelpers to revisit the Bulgogi haus on Neusserstr. It is not far from where I live and I have actually been once before, it was a lot time ago. The bulgogi menu here is quite a bit cheaper than the one in the other restaurant. However I feel that this was on balance better value for money. A good amount of beef and pork as well as bulgogi beef and chicken and finally prawns and squid.. it was very good. The buffet of accompaniments was also very good. I would definitely eat here again..
Although the menu is fixed, it's overall a great menu selection. Atmosphere is nothing fancy, often packed. Customer service is good. On the pricey side, but what do you expect from Korean BBQ in Germany. Definitely recommended for both Koreans and non-Koreans.
