A great selection of ales, as well as a great selection of wine. However, the food is what really draws people to this country pub. All the classic dishes are spot on and there is a great lunch menu that is a bit more casual than the more formal dinner menu.
You can choose to either sit in the pub area or the dining area.
After your meal there are countless gorgeous walks you can take.
The only tough part is finding this little spot, as it is fairly remote.
Went for late Sunday lunch. Great setting. Easy parking. Terrific staff - extremely smiley and nothing too much for them. Food and drinks really excellent. I started with the brocolli soup which was really good and followed with the risotto. Very tasty!! Ended with peanut butter cheesecake - as good as it sounds. We sat outside and couldn't have had a better afternoon. Friends had lamb for mains which was excellent. Highly recommended.
