Bravo for Bravissimo.  Before they came my life was saggy and on a downward trend.  But having discovered them the bounce is back in my life so to speak.
I went to have a look at the shop about 3 years ago.  I had heard a lot but didn't hold out much hope.  Having been used to the despair a trip to Evans Outsize shop could bring i wasn't prepared at all. The ethos seems to be empowering women by making them feel good.
Browsing around the store I was struck by the amount of colour there was everywhere.  Everything looked gorgeous.  There was choice in abundance in lots of different sizes and all fashionable and very chi chi.
I asked to be measured and I was ushered to a boudoir downstairs.  They took some details and I waited on the sofa for a member of staff to be free.  There were magazines to look at during the short wait.  I was then taken to a fittingroom and measured. I tried on some bras and fell in love with four of them.  They were wrapped beautifully and I took them home.  One of the bras was out of stock so we ordered a replacement which was sent to my home address.  This turned up promptly and I was happy with all my purchases.  They're not the cheapest place in town for lingerie but the lady who fitted me asked "how many bras had I thrown away over the years because they didn't fit properly or were uncomfortable".  She had a point.  I still wear the bras.  Going into the shop just for a browse is like having an oxygen rush.

Considering the sizes this store caters for, it's quite a disservice that the store itself is so small. It means that you can only fit about three customers at a time in here. And if you're a six foot three bloke with that haggard look in your eyes that says "why have you brought me here?!", you tend to stick out like a giant, awkward sore thumb.

There's an affliction that is common to shopping with a ladyfriend that is known to us men as They Don't Have What I Want So Now I'm Angry At You Syndrome. It's an affliction that takes the lives of several dozen men a year, as they are bombarded with stilettos coupled with screams of "I ASKED FOR LIGHT CREAM, NOT DIRTY WHITE! GRAGGGH!" However, shops like Bravissimo should be applauded. They take the pain out of TDHWIWSNIAAY Syndrome by stocking very, very specific sizes. If you're in their band, they've got what you need ensuring no more men have to suffer the wrath of a disappointed ladyfriend.

Bravissimo has a great selection of lingerie, in particular catering to those who are DD+.

The store is on the small side but if they don't have your particular size check with the staff, as I've found that more often than not they will have it in the stock room.

In addition to lingerie, Bravissmo also stocks swimwear, nightwear, sportswear and even clothes, which are all tailored to both your bra, and clothes size.

What I particularly appreciate about bravissmo is that they sell bras and briefs separately rather than as a set, which for some makes life much easier (I once ended up buying two bikinis in different sizes at another store).

Whether or not you're after a pretty or practical bra, swimwear, nightwear or sportswear, Bravissmo is indisputably the number one stop in Cardiff for women with fuller busts.

This is the best place in Cardiff for bras for bigger busted ladies.

I've got to be honest, I don't fall into Bravissimo's target market of ladies who can boast an ample bosom (D-KK cup), but my bigger boobed friend tells me that whereas many bra ranges for larger cup sizes focus on substance over style, Bravissimo manages to make them pretty as well as supportive.

The main problem with this branch, however, is that for each bra on display they only have a couple of sizes out to try - and if you need a different size they have to go off to the storeroom to find it for you (a bit like the system in a shoe shop). This is time consuming when the shop's quite busy, but when it's quiet it's no problem.

They also offer a good bra-fitting service and have a clothing range also aimed at bigger busted women, celebrating their curves, including casual clothes, sportswear, and night wear.

I was so pleased when they finally opened a Bravissimo in Cardiff, this is an excellent shop. The staff are really helpful and friendly and the bra fitting service is better than any other i've been to in Cardiff. The underwear is really good quality and there is a huge choice. The clothes they have fit amazingly well and even though there is only a small choice it is a very good selection.

I've finally found a blouse that doesn't look like it's bursting open at the buttons! I've got a small waist and big boobs and thought I'd have to be stuck wearing t-shirts or giant, unflattering blouses. But NO more! Found a lovely one in the shop in Cardiff and on the Bravissimo website there's a bit more of a selection. Yay! A god send for us bigger breasted ladies. I ended up buying some lingerie too - a silky number for the boyfriend, and a couple of t-shirt and sports bras for work/gym. Fantastic! Excellent shop!

I love the Bravissimo catalogue, so was thrilled when I heard that a shop was opening in Cardiff. However, it was a bit of a disappointment. Whilst it is nice to be able to go and see the items personally, rather than trying to guess from the catalogue pictures, I was disappointed to find that for each bra on display, there are only one or two sizes in the shop itself, you have to ask a member of staff to go and get the size you want from the storeroom. When the shop is busy, this can add quite a bit of time onto your visit, particularly if you want to buy more than one item. The last time I bought something from the shop itself, I discovered when I got home that the sales assistant had actually put the bra from the display in my bag (which was the wrong size) rather than the one she had found me from the storeroom. Admittedly an easy mistake to make, but one which then required a further trip into town in order for me to exchange it. As a result, I've decided to stick to ordering online instead.
