Favourite stalls (but they're all pretty good...)
-Spice Mountain - LOVE their speciality salts, they make a huge difference in the kitchen
-Gastronomica - paninis

No words to describe this amazing & unique market not far from the Tate Modern or Shakespeare Globe Theater.
Mindboggling array of trendy, IG worthy prepared foods as well as a unique & impressive assortment of fresh produce, meats, cheese, fish etc..
Just an outstanding place to spend a few hours.
After circling around a bit, we shared the infamous wild mushroom risotto standing on the side lines in awe. Later on I had a Shish Chicken Shawarma that was decent but not as memorable as the one at Camden Market.
Go early !! All covered, so a rainy day is fine. The strawberries covered with liquid chocolate look exactly as they do on social media.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 3 Apr 2024
An incredibly charming market that has been nestled in this spot since Roman times (if I read my history correctly).
Sadly it has has become overrun with tourists as of late, so choose your time to visit wisely. We were here over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend, so it may have been worse than normal but the crowds were stifling.
Highlights included Monmouth Coffee (bring your own cup as they don't do take away and seating is very limited), my husband loved both the stalls that served paella and the mushroom risotto that they cook in giant pots.
Bread Ahead is a sure winner for doughnuts.
Brindisa has 2 restaurants and a shop. Gorgeous green olives, smoked paprika and amazing chorizo.
Humble Crumble - Haven't tried yet but want to. A sort of build your own sundae where you select the fruit compote, crumble type and topping (custard, torched marshmallow, etc). Looks amazing.
Everyone will find something to love here but try to choose an off hour to get a bit of peace.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Terri L.San Diego, United States141597720 Feb 2024
Interesting and fun but super busy. It was almost closing time but still very crowded. Lady at the 'scotch egg' place was pretty rude. We bought last two scotch eggs on the shelf which was a big mistake. I ended up getting indigestion from eating one. My bad!
I liked the wild mushroom risotto, very creamy, loaded with several types of wild mushrooms. Delicious!
The paella stall had the longest line so we didn't even attempt to get in line.
They also had may other vendors pastry, coffee, tea, beer, chocolate, cheese and more!!!
Overall the place was exciting and fun to visit!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 25 Feb 20242 check-ins
Love this place. Note to self always wear stretchy pants. Such a an amazing variety of food. I could have stayed here and eaten all day. Great selection of not just different cuisines, but bakery items, wine and cheese.
With so many food vendors the place is kept clean. This place is crowded but every stall we went to service was awesome. If in London, highly recommend this place.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - 12212045387110 Jan 2024
The best thing about Borough Market is the food is actually absolutely delicious! There are many a food market in London. Each neighborhood seems to have its own market filled with happy go lucky tourists (like myself) searching for a bite to eat. What stands out about Borough Market in particular is that there are some truly exemplary food stands here.
Turnips- yes, you've seen the strawberries on tiktok, but the reality is that they are probably going to be the sweetest strawberries you've ever eaten. Absolutely delicious and honestly worth the hefty price tag.
The Black Pig- get the best one. Thank me later. The huge sandwich is packed full of mouthwatering flavors!
You'll truly find whatever you're looking for. From Japanese to Italian to sweets and treats, they have it all!Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - 236586182119 Mar 2024
This place is a foodie haven. Everything you could possibly imagine. We had bread ahead donuts, ginger pig sausage roll, and a delicious sandwich. We also had chocolate covered strawberries. Literally everything was moth watering. This is a tourist must do! Bring your wallet and stretch pants

SCW and I walked through the market soon after it opened. It was certainly less crowded than our previous attempt, a Sunday afternoon. We found prepared food, wine, spice shops, olive oil and incredible chocolate. The fresh produce looked really good. Most of the market is covered so you don't need worry much about the London rain/drizzle here.
Lots of the food stalls offer plant based options which is really appreciated. The market is fairly easy to navigate as well. Many of the stalls are credit card only, not many take cash.
Definitely worth checking out for great food. I'd recommend getting here early as it gets very crowded.Helpful 11Thanks 1Love this 7Oh no 0 - 1508922616 Jan 2024
TEN STARS.
Cross London Bridge. Pass the old church, down the stairs. Down into the belly of London. This is Borough Market.
I am crowd averse, and dangit this place is PACKED. Why is it worth it? The food. BRING. YOUR. APPETITE. This place is a journey. It's also London's oldest food market. And it shows.
Wild mushroom risotto. Bao that'll make you see Jesus. Donuts (don't count calories, count flavors). Mulled wine (add a shot of rum...who knew?!). Meats. Cheese. Bagels. Coffee. Beautiful stacks of fresh fruits and veggies. There is no shortage of food. And every corner has a new delicious adventure.
We nosh-walked until we felt like slugs (gross, I know). It's really the only way to experience Borough Market. There's plenty of coffee and wine shops to keep you fueled. And plenty of flavors to keep you coming back.
STILL craving the classic bao.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - 141169510 Jan 2024
Easily persuaded by the recommendations of Instagram, I decided I wanted to check out Humble Crumble in Borough Market during my trip to London! On my first day, that's exactly what I did.
When I arrived to Borough Market, I wasn't exactly sure where I was going so I enjoyed the stroll through. There's so many stands with different goods but especially cheeses. If you want any kind of cheese I'd be surprised if there isn't at least something close in Borough Market. There's lots of options and everything is very Instagramable in truth.
I was quite sure I found Humble Crumble when I encountered a pink-signed stand with a line around the corner. I quickly hopped in to the queue. I'd say I waited for 15-20 minutes to order and was able to do so at a kiosk that was very easy to use. About five minutes later my order came out! Unfortunately all of the seats were taken so I went to the side to enjoy my order.
I opted for the December special! Honestly it was so good. It was warm and had a few different textures going on that complimented each other well. I truly savored every bite. As I was eating I noticed the queue grew even longer after I got my food! Don't arrive too last minute otherwise you may not be guaranteed the ability to order.
Overall, I enjoyed my experience and would come again and/or recommend it to others!!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
