Boots the chemist in Stamford is on the high street occupying medium sized premises. They do stock a small range of the products but really you would need to visit a bigger boots for a fuller range. I do feel it is like a sample of the bigger stores products; however it is very handy to have a boots on the high street. The do have a perfume counter but why anyone would want to pay their prices I do not know as there are several other options on the high street that have the same products at a much cheaper price. I have saved myself as much as 25% in the past by shopping elsewhere. There is a good pharmacy department.
Most of my reviews are normally very positive as overall I feel I get quite good service in most shops I visit however I do not feel this about the boot store in Stamford. On several occasions I have found the sales staff to be very rude and unhelpful. There seems to be more interest in chatting to their friends than serving actual customers. I am not saying it is all of the Staff just a handful who bring the store down.
The store itself is on the small side but not unduly so as it fits perfectly into its location on the high street, there is a good selection of products but for more choice you would need to visit a larger store. I find their perfume to be highly over priced as there are other shops on the high street selling the identical products for much less, for example a bottle of perfume purchased recently elsewhere cost £24.95 in boots the identical bottle was £38.50.
