Bodean's offers any basketball/football-starved American a period of time to step outside of England. Nothing against the island, but once in awhile you like to fall into old routines.

Enter Bodean's BBQ.

You can get great beer - Sierra Nevada - even though it may be a bit more expensive to what you remember from home. The food is pretty good and well-priced, and there are American sports on the televisions. You should check out the web site to find out what is on, but this is a good place to remember around March Madness.

Every Bodean's location is good, but this one being down the street from where I lived, I was here a lot.  A lot.  This location was also good about take away orders as we would sometimes do that then come back and watch American football (even though they do show it there).

I am not embarassed at all to admit that Bodeans is one of my favourite places to go for a quick lunch. It has everything I secretly want from a restaurant- it is cheap, quick, gives soda refills and serves a variety of differently prepared pork- ribs, pulled pork sandwiches and burgers. Heaven. They also serve steak and chicken, and have a few vegetarian options though that isn't really the point of Bodeans.

The best value deal on the menu is the hot deli main sandwiches where you can get a pulled pork sandwich served with coleslaw and fries for £5.75. Served with one of their bbq sauces, it is delicious and amazing value.

It's a nice place to go when you miss the USA.  Cheesy American atmosphere.  ESPN America on the TVs.  They have A&W cream soda.  Their cornbread is quite good, as well as their barbecue sauces.  Their ribs are OK--I'd say mine were a bit dry, though.  Decent prices for food.

Bodean's is an American grill house with three branches in London. Though it is culturally void, which is to be expected, the food is excellent. It's probably not the healthiest option, but these days even going outside is allegedly unhealthy. We went to one of their other branches for a pre- bachelor party dinner and they were kind enough to put us in a room separated from the main restaurant. With such a rowdy lot over for dinner, this was definitely in their best interest, though when our 16oz steaks arrived no one had much to say.

A great lunch option from Bodean's is their range of sandwiches. I'm an expert on their pork belly sandwich with chips, which rates as simply delicious. If there's one thing America has taught the world it's bigger can be better, and everything about Bodean's, from the menu and the portions of food to their larger than life presence on the American restaurant circuit is just that.

Pretty good place if you want BBQ.  The portions are HUGE, the girl I was with couldn't even eat half of it, so I ate it being the pig I am. The staff was super friendly. For the price you pay it is well worth it!!!
