A delightful café situated on the quieter end of the high road serving coffee, tea and cold drinks with a good selection of food on offer. A very well thought out place that suffers only with being in the quieter end of the high road so it doesn't get mad busy. I guess that is a double edged sword in that the owner won't get enough trade but for customer it makes for a nice relaxing and enjoyable place to recharge the batteries and reload the energy meter.
Serving good quality food this isn't just a café as it is more upmarket than that. When I visited they had a smoothing jazz c.d. on and the owner was very attentive and friendly without being to obtrusive. Shapour (the owner) used to manage The Gravy restaurant further up the high road and as such has brought to the place calmness with very good service as per Gravy. Go there to chill out and read the papers whilst enjoying some wonderful food not found in your average café.
Hopefully it won't get to well known, that way I can enjoy it all to myself and the others that clearly enjoy it as well.
