I have so far used 'Best Cut' onceit is a small walk, possibly 5-10 minutes from the main shopping street, Konigsalle.
My initial impression was positive, the premise is small-medium in size and also appeared clean. Male and possibly femaile staff, (apologies ladiesI was only looking for a male barber)The premise is small-medium in size and also appeared clean. The price list appeared reasonable and i seem to recall the price being around EUR15, possibly lesscertainly no more.
At the time, there only appeared to be one male barber working. Not that this was a problem because I was nextI could not speak German and attempted to explain what I wanted in EnglishThe barber seemed to know exactly how I wanted it and to give credit where it's due, did a reasonably good job.
I was however a little disappointed that my back and sides was shaved too short and I realise that perhaps there was a communication barrier or perhaps the English 'grade 2' is different to the German version? Whatever the cause, it was too short and I felt the cold for a good two weeks after, even with a babseball cap!
I subsequently recommended 'Best Cut' to a friend who used the service and commented on how long it took the barber to perform a short trim, back and sidesMy friend explained the delay was caused by the constant interuptions the barber made to his friends and the telephone
I'd be prepared to try Best Cut again but based on mine and my friend's first experience, would prefer to find somewhere different.
