We found this Pub a few years ago while staying at Pontins Holiday Camp in Prestatyn. We now go every year when we are on Holiday there.
It's a Lovely clean and Welcoming Pub with very Friendly Staff who do everything they can to make your visit a great experiance.
There is a good sized car park out front, with some outdoor seating, there is also a small Childrens Play area with a Climbing frame and slides.
The food is Excellent and a good choice is availible, with many different special offers on. The Childrens Menu is very good too, And if you have a Sainsbury's Nectar Card you can Earn Points on that too.
A Lovely meal and afternoon is always provided.
This restaurant is located on the coast road between Mostyn and Prestatyn. It has plenty of free parking and disabled access.
As you enter it has a small play area for the children which can only be accessed by going inside the pub.
Food here is of good quality and cheap. Many deals are to be had and the Sunday Roast is fab.
The children can also have their parties here and families and big partied are always welcome.
There is a large bar and pool table at the rear of the pub allowing for a evening out or a food stop on your travels.
Word or warning though - Be careful exiting the carpark on the dual carriage way - cars are travelling very fast and this is how accidents have been casued in the past.
Other than that this is a nice pub/restaurant well wort a visit.
We were at the Bells of St Marys last Sunday. I can tell you the carvery was well worth a visit realiy good hot food good staff. I had lived in Rhyl for 10 years and only jusy recently visited this establishment it is definately worth going back to on my next visit to North Wales
Had a meal last Saturday and found that the main course was only £3.59 for a carvery meal, we had visited this pub for over 15 years when we visited my late father in law and his wife who moved to the area some 30 years ago, but the value of the meal and the quality was very good if we did not live so far away ourselves we would go more often, we had to queue for 5 minuets but what would you expect for the price with either a choice of pork, chicken or beef or a portion of all, will be going again soon.
I live locally and the main problem is the tourists during the summer season. The entire area is riddled with litter from May to September. As soon as the season is over the litter goes with it. As for the food, I agree at times it has been a bit hit and miss. I think they do use different chefs. Saying that we have been 3 times since the refurbishment after the fire and the food has been spot on every time. My score of 4 stars is over a five year period.
good food nice friendly service, carvery is excellent prices cheaper outside of summer season
