I was in the area, and so I decided to check this bookstore out hoping that I could increase my arsenal of bookstores to browse.
Unfortunately, I cannot say that this would be part of it. I entered this establishment, and while it is a bookstore, I think it is more of a specialty bookstore, more along the lines of an antique bookshop. Thus, the target audience of this store would be very small.
And who are the target audience? Those who are interested in architecture and art. Yes, most of the books seem to be about architecture and art. There are plenty of coffee table books about photography, art, modern art, buildings, nudes, and so on. But this isn't the place to buy your next paperback novel you'll be reading while commuting on the S-Bahn, nor is the place to buy your next travel guidebook for your next vacation.
So there, 3 stars. Just OK. That being said, I think I know where to look in case I want to gift someone a coffee table book.
