I had never been to an Asian Spa before, but considering this is in Switzerland I'm not sure how authentic it is. Regardless, it was a great experience.

People were very friendly, the place was very clean and well kept, and the different sauna rooms were very nice and varied in temperatures and humidity.

It was definitely a great way to relax after a long flight, and for the money it was worth the value.

Beautiful spa and fitness center! As soon as you step foot in here, you're immediately surrounded by calming music, and are offered a cup of delicious homemade tea. I highly recommend the classic relaxation massage. You'll leave feeling like you're on another planet. So relaxing and wonderful! Just be sure to bring a towel, as you're charged for all "extras"!

I rate this fitness center/spa four stars because of its cleanliness, a "one stop shop", accessibilitiy to various saunas/relaxation areas, offering of classes (which I don't really use though), flexibility in types of membership for needs/budget, offering of towel/robe packages, good fitness trainers and decent exercise equipment/fitness area. The opening and closing times (for members it's open a few hours earlier) are great too - from 630am to midnight!

It is located in the Sihlcity area, within the Four Points Sheraton Hotel conveniently located at the 13/5 "Sihlcity Nord" tram stop.

The reason I come here is that I have access to decent fitness equipment and relaxation time a nice sauna - killing two birds with one stone (trip). Beware for those who are not used to the sauna culture here - you must not wear any clothing when going into the sauna except your towel. Yes, NO BATHING SUITS, as it is considered unhygienic. If you can embrace being naked in a sauna then you will do fine. Some Anglo Saxons may disagree but this is the policy at this club, but please don't shoot the messenger, I'm just a Yelper passing on the word!  On top of that, most of the sauna areas are unisex, with the exception of a small area with two small saunas, a few relaxation beds and showers for women only. Sorry men, there is no 'men's only' sauna room. Only the ladies get this privilege. The main sauna area is quite big and relaxing, there's also access to water beds in the main sauna area. The beds come equipped with a blanket so you are not lying down feeling chilly. There are a few different saunas depending on your liking and I usually go for the steam sauna for the cleansing of toxins effect, which is unisex.  There are special events or saunas that occur on different days - it's icing on the cake, but not a necessity for me.

I also love the fact that they provide towels/robes/slippers for rental, and you can purchase an annual plan for this - it's less packing of towels to lug around in your gym/spa bag. They provide complimentary hand wash towels for wiping your sweat during the fitness area, complimentary headset rental and water bottle rental.

They also offer services such as solarium, massage, facials/beauty and mani-pedicure. In addition, there is a small Japanese 'pool' (it's really small, you can't swim in it - and don't forget you must have your bathing suit in this area), and a hamann which I haven't explored yet but heard good things. The hamann is a separately paid admission, so watch out it can rack up costs! They also offer physical training sessions, the two who administered my fitness test were great, and I know my friend personally uses one whom he's extremely happy with.

You can use their facilities by purchasing entrance by hour(s) or day pass, or through an annual gym membership. For those who work for big corporates may find themselves getting a few hundred francs discount through their company, and also participating health insurance plans will reimburse you CHF 200 for joining.

The 2/4 hour entry ranging from 35-40 francs as of late 2012 is not too bad, but if you have a membership you figure it's a steal if you use the gym and sauna on a regular basis when comparing to the single entry rate.

Connected to the Sihl city complex, a surprisingly expansive spa.  I purchased a 2 hr pass, and used the fitness facility and the sauna area.  There are many sauna and steam bath options, with various scents and music.  Nice relaxing area and plenty of space.  Fitness area was just average, but for a hotel area, it was great.

Recommend the Chinese massage if you have any back issues. I went in feeling completely broken & came out feel like had my back replaced. The chinese massage works on acupuncture & I think it worked extremely well for what I needed it for.
Staff are friendly and the place is quite nice, the only negative comment I have is I was not offered a towel to shower which is generally needed as the oils can by well quite oily.
