This is a big shop really big.
The entrance is in the eastgate centre and it is nice to have a large supermarket actually in a town centre.
As well as all the normal stuff you would expect to find in asda (food, drink, toiletries, cleaning products etc) there is a large Geogre clothes department and jewellery counter. There is also a pharmacy.
At the front of the store is the home department selling bedding, duvets, lights and furniture. Behind this is the electrail department. Then there is another sort of home bit with plates, cups etc it is a shame they don't keep all this home non food stuff in one place so it is nicer and easier to look round.
There are self scan tills to speed up the check out.

The almost perfect supermarket with everything in one store clothing, white goods, food, drink etc etc. Nicely set out store which feels lovely and light making it no effort to walk around for a couple of hours browsing!

This is the larger of Basildon's two Asda stores. I really hate the car park, unless you get into one of the child friendly spaces they are really narrow. That aside this is a great place for your weekly shop, although I do get a bit distracted by the vast selection of clothes upstairs and the other non grocery departments. Quite like their garden stuff, they normally have a 25% off on it in June/July. The selection of toys is really good, but we have to avoid that aisle. I always stock up on the 3 for £10 wines, ideal for parties or just a night in. I'm not so keen on their cakes though. This store is also quite handy as it leads into the Eastgate shopping centre with its half decent collection of shops. Don't forget your £ for the shopping trolley

a large size supermarket located within the eastgate centre.

with many products on offer, at low prices, they often have great offers on too.

upstairs / escalaor / lift onto the first floor they have george clothing section and a cafe with toilets and baby changing facilities too. a bargain can be found up there for all the family, and the food in the cafe is not bad either.

staff are welcoming and friendly, and happy to help you with a problem or when finding something for you.

queues can get busy but move quickly.

nice wide aisles, making it easily accessible.
