Aroma is a great start, or finish to a night depending whether you're out at the pubs/clubs or you've caught a movie with the other half.
The buffet is as good as any other but where Aroma really comes in to its own is the teppanyaki. This is where you select your own raw foods and have it cooked right in front of you to a style of your choosing. You can select anything from chicken and steak to squid alongside peppers, onions, bean sprouts etc.
Another nice touch is with the deserts. Rather than offering just jelly and ice cream as a cheap option, Aroma lay on a number of fruits such as pineapple and melons as well as always having two large cakes in the desert section; not strictly keeping with SE Asian cuisine but a nice way to finish your meal anyway!
The service is usually excellent and the decoration/lighting gives a good atmosphere and would never have you believe you're sat next to a cinema, arcade and bowling alley.
This is essentially the only Chinese buffet in Luton. The food here is good for British Chinese food. Some people like it, some people really hate it. You can't go wrong with the egg rolls and the noodles. They also have a wannabe Mongolian bbq. This place can get really crowded especially on weekends. They get really anal about people coming in who aren't going to eat. Also, don't bother coming in towards the closing hour because you'll be eating leftovers.
Been there twice at lunchtime. I found it very good value for money. It was an all you could eat affair, with a hugh selection of food. The also had a very good selection of fresh fruit available.
