I receive pelvic floor therapy there and my physical therapist is absolutely amazing. I would recommend anyone to come here. (They have both male and female therapist)

10/10 will recommend. since I've started with these guys everybody has been super supportive in getting me up and walking again. management and front desk is very kind, helpful and understand your individual needs. my PT gave me hope and confidence which after surgery I've lost all of it. And thankful to her I went from non mobile to wheelchair to churches to cane to walking.

If you are a person with a disability, this isn't the place ironically. My son with autism needed intensive outpatient therapy after a surgery.
We were told this was a good option from multiple sources. Unfortunately once we began they frequently canceled appts at the last minute which meant time frequently missed at work and school to accommodate. I also could not access his medical records in the patient portal.
They also would not speak to my sons school PT despite me signing a release to ensure he was able to practice exercises at school. I then spoke yesterday with compliance and they ended the call resolving my concerns... so I thought. I reached out because they didn't give me the new schedule and they sent this email instead of the schedule I had agreed to.
Now my son is without care (the referrals they gave were not vetted/don't take my insurance) and they will continue to run business as usual I guess.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - 4 Oct 2019
This place has been extremely helpful with my recovery process from a recent car accident I was involved in. It's my second week of therapy and I can already feel improvement all around. Angelie and Jane are awesome! They are both so knowledgeable and patient. They value their patients here and it shows through their work ethics. Grace the front desk receptionist always has a smile on her face when I come in. I love how friendly and warm the staff are at Adventist Rehab. Parking is free and the visitors parking across the center is also available.
For any physical and occupational therapy needs, this is the place to be!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 1 - Seth M.Rockville, United States63101483 Aug 2020Updated review
This is an update. I was on the phone with a woman named Geralyn in billing. I am not sure how to spell that. Geralyn was exceptionally rude. Geralyn's rudeness comes as no surprise considering how rude Keely, Rob Grange, and Ken DeStefano were. Geralyn threatened to hang up on me three times until I finally hung up on her. I was supposed to get a call back from the manager of billing. The billing manager apologized for Geralyn's behavior, but was a pitbull about the surprise billing. Because Geralyn was following her manager's example it certainly comes as no surprise Geralyn was so rude.
Adventist wrote off the bill, which is a start. I need Keely's licensing information so I can report her narcissistic self-centered rudeness to appropriate licensing authorities. I paid a lot of money in my health insurance premiums for these guys to give me good care and they failed. There are not enough options for healthcare in the region for the market to adjust for their low standards of care.
In addition. Adventist attorney Ken DeStefano, said that he would get me a copy of the recording with Geralyn. I have yet to receive it.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 020 Jun 2020Previous reviewIf it was possible to give negative stars, I would not hesitate to do so.
While it is only my personal belief, based on that which I will say below; I am confident Rob Grange of Adventist Rehab and Ken DeStefano General Counsel to Adventist Healthcare should not be working in a Christian healing environment.
I try to be fair, so I will start with the good. The building appears to be new and is very pleasant, however, the layout is extremely confusing. The billing and scheduling team are in a large room full of cubicles with a tiny door. Dr. Fromm conducts neuropsychological testing in a private office situated in the middle of a busy noisy hallway. To reach the office of speech-language therapists one would have to walk through a busy therapy gym.
Dr. Patel was fine. Dr. Godwin was very impressive. Dr. Fromm was a little rough around the edges. Dr.Fromm presumed to tell me about issues in my field as an employment paralegal something she did not know a thing about.
My first speech language therapist was a disgrace. She said some things to me that were very nasty and demeaning. She demanded to be respected.I am 43 years old and do not need to be spoken to like that by someone who says:"I'm a millennial." and later in that conversation says: "You will respect me as a professional." I reached out to her supervisor. The supervisor had an out of the office for an extended time voicemail which said to call the front desk.
I reached out to the young lady, and I use the term loosely's second-line supervisor Rob Grange.I told Rob I did not want to pay for the sessions with the first therapist. I put the appeal of Rob's denial on hold to work on my recovery believing the sessions only cost me $30 something. Rob got me a new speech therapist. I was doing well with the new speech therapist. I thought the copays were only $30 something. I was subsequently informed by the new therapist that the copays were $70 something in addition to the $30 something. I terminated speech therapy.
I spoke to Grange about the bills. He appeared to think that was high. Grange said insurance companies charge more for outpatient acute rehab in a hospital facility. I told Grange that I did not consider it a hospital facility because when I was in physical therapy I asked for a tyleonal and they would not give it to me. I told him I could not go through the hospital operator to reach anybody in rehab. I also told him I did not believe his building to be part of the hospital. Grange said: "That's not fair to me. It's costing me money." Because it is of course about you Rob, even though your organization is a not-for-profit. I told Grange and he agreed that it was not right for my plan to charge the same before and after the deductible.
Then I got surpise bills for over $800. Grange said the $30 plus than $70 pluss were after the deductible. I reached out to Grange who sent me a nasty email saying that the bills were"100 percent my responsibility." This opened up old wounds. I asked Grange for the last name and licensing authority of the first therapist. Grange told me it was their: "position not to provide employees names and licensing information." Grange referred me to Ken DeStefano General Counsel of Adventist Health Care. After numerous attempts at contact DeStefano did reply and did not provide me the therapist's last name or licensing information. DeStefano did not return contact to provide me his address so as to make a complaint to the bar.
The Attorney Grievance Commission accepted my complaint against DeStefano without the address.
Staff from Adventist Rehab missed a few appointments. Grange says he had somebody call me a few ubers. One of which never came. I encourage you to seek care elsewhere. - Hibah S.Germantown, United States17321915430 Dec 2016
This is an absolutely wonderful rehab facility. I oversaw my dad's recovery from GBS here over the span of about a month, and I was very impressed. His fast recovery was largely due to his hard work and motivation but it wouldn't have happened without the amazing therapists, doctors, nurses, and CNAs here who helped him.
The transfer from the hospital next door to the rehab center was not smooth because there was an issue with files not being carried over. But otherwise we were welcomed quite well and had high hopes.
The rooms for inpatient care are shared. It would have been nice if each patient had a private room, but I was told that they are in the process of renovating and trying to make that happen.
Dr. Sheehan is a gem. Not only is he a knowledgeable doctor, but he is also incredibly kind, friendly, encouraging, and caring. And I have high expectations when it comes to doctors.
The head nurses, Hilda and Vicky, are amazing people. They routinely came to check on my dad, ask him how his care was going, and ask for any suggestions on how to improve. Other wonderful nurses included Tessa, Victoria, Glenze, and Ingrid.
There were so many incredible CNAs who helped my dad and even me feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible considering the circumstances. Just to name a few: David, Aminatou, Eddie, Brian, and Yusuf were so nice.
As for the therapists... Wow, I have a new appreciation for their work after this experience. What amazing, motivating people. The way it works here is that each patient gets a schedule for the next day at night, and based upon their individual needs, their schedule reflects what time they will be visited by their therapists and who the therapist will be. They offer physical, occupational, speech, and recreational therapy. There is a fairly large gym upstairs with a variety of equipment and another gym downstairs with even more, including an anti-gravity treadmill. Emily, one of the occupational therapists, was instrumental to my dad's recovery process and truly cared. It showed. Other amazing therapists who worked with my dad were Jason, Naomi, Stephanie, Larry, and a few more who I can't for the life of me remember... But all of them were wonderful.
We also liked how patients have the option to eat in the dining room, which is actually quite nice and spacious. The dining manager, Climintine, is a sweetheart, and the rest of the staff really work hard to give patients the look and feel of dining back at home as opposed to just on trays in their rooms. (Of course, you have the option of doing that too if you don't want to go to the dining room.)
Weekly family meetings with the doctors, case managers, and social workers are also very efficient, especially when it comes to keeping tabs on insurance. There were no visiting hours during my dad's stay and I was free to visit at any time and even stay the night with him, attend his therapy sessions, etc.
Just like any other hospital, there are some people here who should not be nurses and CNAs. They just don't have the heart for it, do things halfway, and mistreat patients. But there are few of them. And management seemed to care a lot about our feedback about who was doing a good job and who wasn't. So hopefully, that will help them improve.
All in all, this is an amazing rehab facility. We met patients who had traveled from all the way across Maryland just to go to this place because of how good it is, and we don't blame them.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Fayz A.Silver Spring, United States164520 Nov 2017
My father went through a rehab there. He was treated very well and all the staff was very attentive. Their staff is like one big family. There is a lot of love and care at the rehab. Our family will always remember this place with great memories and will never be able to thank them enough for what they have done for our family. Convenient location and great staff. Highly recommend!!!

This is one of the great place I've ever experience with. During to my second pregnancy problems, I have to face myself with blood clots in my lung and a Mini stroke a week after delivered. One of my specialize neurologist recommended me to this place and I felt absolute grateful.
This review is special for my PT & OT
Today is my last day, as I'm graduates I have nothing to give them beside writing this review and let everyone knows how great and sweet they are.
I've been struggle with numbness and pain for 6 months with the clots and 2 months for running around to find out how these cause weird symptoms. But thankfully after I've been going to see them 3 times/week for 3 months my normal activities start to build back up. Now I've almost back to my regular normal activity and I'm so grateful and thankful for them that has been researching and working hard to make me today.
Big shout out to my 3 main ladies Jane, Katie (PT) & Michelle (OT) they're best of the best. And my favorite funny man Kim.
Overall experience, I'm really really appreciate it and so happy! I highly recommend this place for both Physical and Occupational therapist! Thanks guysHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sandy J.Rockville, United States166 Dec 2013First to Review
Therapists are very knowledgable and friendly, best team ever. They helped my mother improve her get around and become independent in just 2,3 weeks.
Doctors and admins are so friendly and helpful. They take good care of her controlling the pain, monitor her health frequently, and respond to her needs according.
However, some nurses and assistants are rude and lazy. "SOME, not all." Once she spilled on her bed and they let her sit on the side waiting for 45 mins before they clean up. On that same day, She was told breakfast comes at 6 but they didn't bring it in until 9am. That is horrible!!Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
