Had bought a suit from these guys previously which was good: I was quite a fan so went back for another. Have had a really disappointing experience and won't be using them again.
I ordered the new suit 6 months in advance of my wedding (this weekend). The suit was shipped in 6 weeks: it looked fine, apart from an issue with the shoulders. 4 months, 7 fittings and 1 remade jacket later, and the shoulders still look funny.
I've had to take the suit as I don't want to wear a work suit to get married in, but am pretty gutted that they weren't able to sort this out  I've paid £600 for a suit that (kind of) fits. It feels like they either don't have the expertise or the systems to deal with anything beyond simple alterations  it felt like the style advisers (who are mostly very helpful and friendly) didn't really have a lot of visibility on what happened when the suit went off for alterations.
UPDATE: The response below is a PR exercise  I've emailed this address and had no response.

I bought one of these and I would certainly recommend you do NOT buy this.  Ill fitting, and no refund... ended up in a charity shop.   I strongly recommend you either go to a proper tailor or if you can't afford that, just order from the internet. your chances are better than going to this place.  They were rude and unhelpful and do not under any circumstances give a refund.

Made an appointment for my son at the Newcastle Office. After several texts and e mails from STF to ensure he was attending the appointment, we arrived at the very nice address at Newcastle Quayside. No sign of STF in reception, was told to take the lift to second floor. Greeted at reception, girl didnt know the company and there was no sign for the company at reception either. After a short wait we were greeted by the representative, made to stand in the kitchen as he made us a coffee! Then shown into a room. Not any sign of the business was in the room, no sample suits to look at, no Company literature nothing, just books of swatches on the table.
To cut a long story short, the guy spoke so fast I missed him saying he wanted all the money up front, my son pointed that out to me.
I challenged the salemen about this and he gave some waffle, we left.
This appears to be a company with a swanky web site and no premises, who wants all of the money up front for the garments.rings alarm bells with me obviously no confidence in their product, hence the upfront full payment. I would say BEWARE.
