A rude man who treats customers like rubbish. Delusions of grandeur obviously make him think nobody is good enough to buy anything from his shop. Do not understand why he runs a shop like this when he clearly does not like people. Stunningly poor form for Camden to allow tourists to have this shop as a poor experience
Shopping in London when I visit from Oslo this shop has to be the worst I have ever encountered, all because of the owner. You would never go into it twice!!!! What a terrible person! What is he doing running a shop when he clearly does not like people. I never leave ratings for anything but felt so strongly about this person I just had to warn people so they do not have to have the same awful experience I had. Stay well clear.
We go shopping in Camden every month or so as we live outside the city. We love the atmosphere and the vintage clothing shops. We have had great experiences except for the one time I went to have a look in Dandy in Aspic. I saw a coat hanging up in the shop so went to go in and have a look. One step inside the shop and owner just walked in front of me and stared at me. (I am a very normal looking 53 year old married man who was with his wife), a bit shocked I asked him if it was possible to have a browse around his shop. In a very loud voice so other shoppers who were around could hear, he made a loud sighing noise and said, if you have to. He was so utterly rude I was shocked into silence, not usual for me. My wife walked back out of the shop. I like an idiot walked in to have a look around while he just stared at me. I have never had such a bad experience shopping. And if you want go shopping and come away feeling annoyed, angry, and with your day ruined this is the shop to go in. The owner is the rudest small minded little man you would ever possibly meet.
