This is a great store in which you can pick up some fantastic bargains as everything is just 99p, sometimes there are deals where you can get 2 of the same item for 99p.


The store is fairly large for a store of this nature and it does get vey busy especially on a Saturday.


You can pick up all sorts of bargains such as stationery, food items, housewares, books, toys, baby clothes and accessories, toiletries, seasonal items such as garden, valentines, Christmas and Easter. You will be surprised that they only cost 99p. There are a few items that will cost less elsewhere, but on the whole the items are very good value.


The items in this store are not the highest quality, but for 99p you can't really go wrong. If you like stores such as Wilkinsons and poundstretcher, then try this store for some great bargains.


There are normally plenty of staff available as they are constantly filling the shelves up.

Im not a fan of these clever shops. You find that a heck of a lot of stuff is actually more expensive than in other shops.
Bjut saying that you do sometimes find a great batgain that isnt useless

I love this shop, everythings 99 p and theres a wide choice of products and you can sometimes pick up major brands at these prices and stuff you wouldnt find in other shops

Ive been a few times and they do have some great buys, Lots of things for the home and kids too and all so cheap.

Ahhh the myth of the cheap item. This store is good for the occasional cheap tat but much of the stuff marked up as a 99p is less in the supermarkets anyway!

This a great place, have picked up loads of little stocking fillers for my daughter, plus many a bargin for myself.

this is a great shop for some real bargins you can pick up anything from dvds, sweets, books, make up , dog food, clothers, smellys and homeware for 99p but it really depends whats there at the time

I always visit this store when I visit Northampton, it's a shame Kettering doesn't have one! It's 100% better than Poundland, no not because you save 1p on each item; The fact they have a huge range of stock, which changes every time you popin. It could have almost everything you could think of, well for daily living. Their seasons ranges are fantastic, Christmas time you can dec your 6ft tree for under a tenner, well I do ;) Big named brands dotted all around, some times are even cheaper than 99p. Overly pleased with this store, clean, laid out well, friendly staff, quick ques, in the heart of Northampton town, what more could you need?

having the 99p store in gold street is brilliant shop,got some good bargains in here,if 99p shop can sell things cheaper why cant big supermarkets.i know some of staff the polish girls are nice who do speak english.
we need more of these stores in our high streets,the tools are cheap but they work,there is so many products in this shop from baking tins to dog food to personal care eg shampoo-save a bargain on household items fresh air spray etc etc.
