I left my wallet here recently with all my worldly possessions in it, after probably getting too excited about my freshly cooked bacon and egg sandwich on white with brown sauce. When I returned some hours later, said wallet was tucked under the counter waiting for me, so that is enough for 5 stars in my book.
If you're more careful than me with personal objects, then you can still enjoy a delicious breakfast, that's great value and served with a smile.
I've really enjoyed the times I've come in here for lunch. It is always busy and it is always hassled but we still manage to get a well-cooked, wholesome meal for less tha a tenner which is refreshing in Soho/Fitzrovia.
Breakfast or lunch, this is a gem of a place in the heart of the city that won't cost you an arm and a leg.
Nestled in one corner of the amazing Market Place is a great basement cafe with an incredibly friendly Polish owner. I had a lovely full-english breakfast with fresh juice and a coffee afterwards (which was the only slightly disappointing bit, but i am a bit of a coffee snob!)
The map on Qype for this place is wrong - the cafe is on the corner of Market Place and Gt Titchfield St.
This is an excellent place to come for lunch. I came across it by accident thinking it was Bagelmania. They have a pretty elaborate menu for a very reasonable price. Staff seem friendly and the service was exceptional. I had one of their burgers which excellent value for money. Will definately be back.
