So I'm a little nervous seeing these reviews...I got a random call on my way out the door from these people asking to verify my business name, website and phone number. I told them I didn't want to pay for anything and they said there was no charge. They asked for several keywords for SEO, and then we hung up. I didn't give them a card number and I clearly stated I am not interested in paying for anything. I can't afford the $190 per month another review states they charge for this "service" so I'm praying they haven't somehow managed to get my information from the place hosting my website. Advice from others who have been in this position would be greatly appreciated.

NO, NO, NO
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!
Learn from my mistakes.....
I was called and then transferred to a "Jacob" who sold me a package for $199 a month- GUARANTEED to be on the first page of Google within 2 weeks to 30 days. Then he was mysteriously "on leave" from the company a week later when I tried to contact him.
34 days later, my website is on the third page of Google, and zero hits to my site.
I called 29 prime on Monday 8/10/15 to cancel due to lack of services rendered, was hung up on twice.
After 50 minutes on the phone, "Dennis" asked if I would continue at a discounted rate. I wanted to cancel ASAP. This business is a complete SHAM.
I've placed a dispute on their charges.
Please do not have anything to do with this joke of a business.
BEWARE and be well.

It was another day at the office until my personal cell phone rang. It was a local number that I didn't recognize, so I picked up. A recorded female voice came on with urgency.
"Your Google business listing is about to expire -- it's extremely urgent that we speak with the business owner. Press '1' if you are the business owner to keep your Google listing active."
I pressed 1. Shortly thereafter a woman came on the line, asking if I was the business owner. Competing with the cacophony of other voices coming from her end of the phone, I asked which business this call was in regards to. She rattled off the name of a website that I had shut down more than ten years ago, but I still owned the domain name. I told her that the business was no longer operating and ended the call.
Ten minutes later, the office phone at my desk rings. Another local phone number I didn't recognize. A familiar recorded voice came on the line. Thoroughly amused, I pressed 1 again. After some wait time (and ringing), a man came on the line.
"Am I speaking with the business owner?" he asked.
"Yes," I replied.
"We're calling because your listing on Google is about to expire and we need verification from the business owner to keep it active."
When I asked him what company he was representing, he said, "Have you ever heard of Google, Inc?"
I said yes.
"Well, I work for Google."
Unamused by this man's bald-faced lie, I asked, "Are you aware that Google doesn't cold-call businesses?"
The man, letting his Chicago accent come through but maintaining an even tone, begged to differ. "Actually, we do. You get a call from us, press '1', and then I get to talk to assholes like you."
I suppose he wasn't too happy that he didn't have a sucker on the line. I wished him good luck (using a variant of a choice four-letter word) and ended the call.
This is a typical, boiler room scam operation. They illegally scrape data sources (like domain name WHOIS records) and pose as Google to screw small businesses out of money. Take it from someone who actually deals with listing businesses on Google: Google NEVER calls you unless you click a button on their website to verify your account. Try getting someone at Google on the phone. It's next to impossible.
Did you get a job offer to work here in "Tele-Sales"? RUN. RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN. In fact, if you have a jetpack, use that to get away. Otherwise, you'll have to live with the fact that this company will do everything in its power to avoid paying you fairly, while you have to lie through your teeth all day on the phone in service of stealing money from honest people in order to enrich a handful of ass hats who don't care about you, or the people they want you to scam.
Just in case the preceding was too much to read, here's what you need to know:
29 Prime is a SCAM. SCAM, SCAM, SCAM, SCAM. They LIE and TAKE YOUR MONEY. They SCREW OVER their employees and don't pay them fairly. Did I mention that 29 PRIME IS A SCAM? They're a freaking SCAM. -

Just had the most unpleasant cold call from this company.
Disgusting company with bottom of the barrel staff. The sales person was pushy, rude, and totally ignorant of what he was doing. When I requested him to put me on the do not call list, he became belligerent and started yelling at me.
Can't believe a company like that gets to stay in business. -

This company calls and targets small businesses to help with online marketing, charge money and get zero results. When you attempt to cancel your services with the company they hang up on you and will not answer from your numbers again for several days, or tell you "Ok we can do that" and then say they've cancelled your account when they have not. I have attempted to contact and cancel any services with this company over a half dozen times yet they keep leaving me messages saying I need to update my billing and company information and say that my account is active. When I again state I want to cancel my account and any services I have, they again hang up and then ignore my number for several days. AVOID THIS COMPANY!

Calls endlessly from a variety of spoofed numbers, the caller ID always lists the name as "local." If you try to call back the number you always get a strange ring and a recording that says all lines are busy. Pretends to be Google. Needless to say don't do business with. Mystified as to why people do business with telemarketers.
After years of this I have contacted my state attorney general. -

BEWARE!! DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY!
I am going on 4 months now and they keep taking their monthly fee out of my account. Their guarantee is "30 days on the front page or its free" . They didn't give us front page so we asked for a refund, instead they charged us another month. And they did that 3 more times after that. I keep calling to get a refund and they keep giving me excuses and apologize and tell me they are working on it. A guy named Paul is the floor supervisor and he keeps promising me he will make sure I get my money back and that I my account with them is closed and I no longer will be charged. As a small start up business I can't afford to throw away $199 a month away. They don't even deserve the 1 star I gave them. I am a victim of a con. Don't be one yourself. They are criminals for doing what hey are doing. -

29 Prime has refused to remove me from their call list, despite my numerous demands. When I attempt to speak to someone their they simply hang up. The calls continue. These are spoof calls from various numbers.
CEO is Russell Benjamin Wallace, 33. If they refuse to remove your number from their call list, maybe try writing him on LinkedIn: linkedin.com/profile/vie…
Note: July 10, 2014 class action lawsuit was filed against 29 Prime in Massachusetts. Civil Action No. 13-12814-NMG. Suit is based on the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.

Got 2 calls from them last week. In the first call I politely reminded the caller that I had asked them not to call me again. He still wouldn't take no for an answer and kept asking very dumb questions such as, "Don't you want more business?" "Wouldn't you like to be on the front page of Google?" I didn't feel like arguing with him so I hung up. I have asked these people not to call me numerous times so I don't know why this guy would think I would feel differently this time. They must either be very desperate or feel like it's their duty to annoy and harass people who ask not to be called.
And by the way, Scott J, I did call your 800 number right after this call to asked to be taken off your call list. The customer sales rep did say she would take me off the list but still tried to sell to me (hint: if I'm calling to be removed from your list, it means I am not interested in whatever crap you're selling). Whoever I spoke to said I would be removed from the list effective at midnight and then 2 hours later I got another call. This was obviously an attempt at being passive aggressive, because it wasn't midnight yet. Neither of those companies cold call people like that, so I know it's a SCAM. I requested to be taken off their list about a month ago and they called me again today. I spoke to "Reyna," and told her again I didn't want them calling me and if I heard back from them, I'd file a complaint with the FTC. She still tried to do her aggressive sales pitch and I repeated myself and hung up. Within 5 minutes I got called back twice and when I picked up, it was silent on their end. I think this would constitute harassment. I'm seriously considering taking them to small claims court. I also think it's interesting that there's 2 other companies who have the same address as this company, who also make intrusive and annoying phone calls to potential customers, use high pressure sales tactics, and also have piss poor reviews. Warning Will Robinson, scam, scam!
Just got off the phone with these guys. Utter hard sell scam with the promise to be on the first page of Google. Not the paid search, which is what I thought they were selling, but the organic search.
I talked with a rep named J. C. No last name given. They told me that they work with Google and that a slot was open for what we sell, barbecue catering. First Google does not work with anyone for an open slot in the organic search rankings, first page or otherwise. There is no such thing as an open slot. That is earned by Google's judgment of relevancy and authority based on their algorithms. The more questions I asked the more confused the sales rep became. She was having a having a hard time keeping her stories straight.
When she was stumped, she got her floor supervisor. After a few questions with him, he became insulting and hung up on me.
All I wanted to know is how they did what they claim they did, given that how they work with Google is not how Google works with anyone.
I felt sorry for J. C. She's probably decent sort who needed a job, was hired, given about 5 minutes of training with a few canned lines that where embarrassingly obvious when delivered. The floor walker, whatever his name was, had the same canned lines of hard sell nonsense. His delivery was just as embarrassingly obvious.
There are lot of these kinds of companies out there. The first thing you do if someone tells you they can put your site on the first page of a useful SERP is walk away. One way or the other, it's a scam.
Given the reviews of 29 Prime, their customers agree with me. If I could give 0 stars, that would be the rating they deserve. -

Harassment. Plain and simple. Ask to no longer be on the "Do not call" list? Expect them to say they will do it and not honor it.... for months. I am a very patient person, but getting calls during all hours of the day, disrespecting my wishes when I'm trying to be very cool about it all is not OK. I don't need to double up on a provider that increases my online visibility.
I hope filing a report with the Better Business Bureau will make you gents stop harassing me because I'm at my whits end dealing with this malarky. -

*****This company is a SCAM.*****
29Prime randomly contacted us in February 2015, They said they work with google, they in fact dont.
We did not look for their services, they found us. We paid 29Prime for their services promising us to have our company website on the top of the first page on google. They would make a short video to help promote out business.
After paying for their service, they claim they have need 60-90 days to get our company on the first page of google. So they service price would be 3 monthly payment before I can even see us on google. The video they made for us was horrible. My 5 year old can put together a better video than their "professional".
The company does not return phone calls, and when you call and get ahold on someone they send you in a never ending loop of being transferred. After accepting the loss and moving on, they still continue to call us every other day to tell us our payment has not been made an their services would be interrupted. There was no service to begin with!
The number of complaints this company has on both yelp and bbb.org should say a lot about this company.
Don't give them a penny! Their services are strictly there to collect your money and run. -

This is a scam. They will steal your money, guilt trip you into thinking your a bad business owner and won't fulfill any promise they make to you.
They called me as soon as I was finished building my new companies website. What they said on the phone sounded good so I decided to sign up with them. However, I had a gut feeling that wasn't a good move so the next day I called to cancel. I was told they would call me back. Then I got a call from the sales person (Ryan Federico) that signed me up (I thought this was the call back that they promised). I told him I wished to cancel and he started saying what a bad decision that was on my behalf as an owner and I wouldn't get any business if I wasn't on the front page of google. He told me somebody would call me back to finalize the cancellation.
I never got the call back so I called them numerous times. At some point I was told that they would send an email to upper management so they could do an investigation on my account and reach a decision if they were going to issue a refund. I told them I didn't use their services (I tried to cancel the next day and my business was never on the front page of google) so I didn't understand why there needed to be an investigation. I fought with the international woman on the phone for a while (because they outsource their calls). I called back again and insisted that I talk to the upper management that they claimed they needed to speak to and the new customer service rep told me they didn't have an upper management. I was also told at some point by these operators that I was irresponsible for giving my credit card information out if I didn't want it out.
Finally they called me back days later to say they would issue me a refund but they are keeping a 20% fee for some reason...
But it's been a week and I still didn't see my money back in my account.
So I called me bank and claimed that this company committed fraud against me. I did not receive services in exchange for the payment I gave them. My beautiful bank agreed with me.
Do not do business with these people. They are a joke and I hope they get shut down soon so they stop taking advantage of small business owners who are just trying to make a decent living on their own. Read more -

I am a new business owner, I was contacted by several marketing companies in my first few months in business. Being nervous about not having enough clients coming in the door for my new staff, I drank the kool aid. I paid them $300 the first month and a few days later I tried to cancel. The refunded me $49 and said that I was out of luck for the rest, it's I. Their contact that I apparently verbally signed. I saw the following month there was another charge for $19.99 I called them and told them that I had cancelled which they sent me to a supervisor and was assured a refund. The refund never came and of course the next month same thing. I called them every month for 11 months with the same complaint never receiving a refund. Yesterday when I called they told me that my account was reinstated in May. They told me that they were going to listen to the recorded phone call reinstating to see if they could give me more than one months refund with a promise of a call back, they never called. I called them again to be told that they would only give me the month of November because it had to be within 3 days of my last draft... CRAP COMPANY

I got a call from them earlier today. I always Google strange ph numbers to see who they might be. Thank to Yelp, I can verify my suspicion that it is a scam. To all of those who have been scammed. Contact your Attorney General and file a claim. Also, if they keep calling you, simply scroll down on your phone and BLOCK the jerks. Also, you can file a dispute with your bank. Or you can have your darn card cancelled. Don't keep on taking a financial hit. Be proactive! That's the only way to shut these scumbags down. Best of luck out there!
