Me and a few mates visited this bar yesterday. Really cool bar. We played pool and had a nice drink. Really good vibe there. The staff were friendly and went out there way to make us feel welcome. I highly recommend this bar to anyone going out for a drink in London. It was a good night!

1920 is a great cocktail and American pool bar. You can book a pool table for £12 an hour, great for meeting up with friends or going for after-work drinks.

The cocktails were great, staff were nice and the place wasn't too busy. There's a bit of outside seating just on the street. I thought this place was quite trendy, nice and clean interior and felt comfortable here.

The music was to my taste, they had some good tunes and it wasn't too loud either.

I'll definitely be coming back, this might become my new usual stomping ground!

Ok, so this was a weird evening. We'd had a few drinks already and the bar we were originally aiming to go into was PACKED. 1920 however looked a little bit quieter and actually had tables to sit at. Alcohol and a seat won out so we headed in.

1920 is actually a pool hall - now if you know me, you'll know that I can be a bit of a pool ninga (a hidden secret of mine so shhh). So it was great to discover that there's actually a pool hall just round the corner from my work - lunch time pool game anyone? :)

We grabbed a wine or 4 and the night slipped into a bit of a blur BUT what I do remember is that we had an enjoyable time. The bar staff were friendly and we were served quickly and the area we had was perfect for what we needed.

The toilets were a tad dirty which was a shame but overall we had a good night and went home laughing!

I would actually definitely come back in the future and actually play a game of pool like you're meant to! You can rent tables out for £12 an hour so that makes me happy! :)

Zoe H, you are a wonderful wonderful lady. The burgers are indeed very good. I ordered the entire burger menu and ate it all. Ok well I didn't but I could have, you bet you behind I could have... ish!

I went for the house cheese burger which is made with prime Angus beef, cooked perfectly and served on a slate with a small side salad bowl and the most amazing wedges. They were huge, like half a potatoe huge (see photo.)

The upstairs are of 1920 is home to number of pool tables and downstairs is the second bar and the more cozy drinking are. It had a rather good vibe and I think I'll be going back to sink a jug or five.

Booked an area for 50 people on Halloween night to celebrate birthdays (mine and a friend). We picked 1920 bar because it had a cool, lounge-y feel to it, had awesome cocktails and food menu.

What a great decision we made!! The whole place was decorated for Halloween, staff was great and attentive. Cocktails were fresh, well crafted and delicious! Music was great all night, and the space was perfect for our group. Food was nothing amazing , but kept us fed and happy.

Thanks for a great birthday night!

I love burgers and I'm not talking the McDonalds variety (although I'm not ashamed to say only a Big Mac will hit the spot!). The burgers at 1920 are definately some of the best Ive tasted in London and that's probably because tehy use 100% Angus beef. Forget the usual burger combinations of cheese or cheese, 1920 serves a varied menu including buffallo Mozzarella with parma ham, garlic butter mushrooms with smoked bacon and my facourite- the burger with chargrilled vegetables and roquefort cheese. Yummy!

Not only is the food fantastic but the cocktails are also great and the staff are only happy to make your drink to your requirements. If you're not too stuffed from your burger you can also play a game of pool. Not for me though I'm quite happy chilling witha cocktail.

1920 definately deserves its title of serving the best burgers in town.

This place has has pool tables on the ground floor visible from the street, but downstairs in the basement the place really comes into its own.

We went on a Friday night and there was a DJ providing the backing tracks for us to get down to some serious cocktail-guzzling.

After the post-work busy-ness, there was a but of a lull but by 11pm it was getting packed and there were more people crowding in.

The whole basement is available to hire privately, but if you just want to reserve a section you don't need to pay any fees or sign up to a minimum bar spend.

One thing to point out - we apprehended a thief who was casing the place looking for people's unattended coats to steal (she made off with our friend's leather jacket until we chased her down the street) - so hold on to your hats folks!

It had a cosy feel and there's plenty of seating to relax tired feet.

With a great mix of all the above, somehow I have a feeling I'll be back...

I went here a couple of weeks ago to celebrate a friend's birthday. After some initial confusion they accepted so many party reservations only some of which were signposted we settled into a cosy corner in the basement.
Call me a boring old fogey, but I preferred the earlier part of the evening when the music was at a volume which made it possible to have a semi-meaningful conversation. Later the volume was steadily increased to such a level conversation was impossible unless you count shouting into each other's ears. I was hoarse by the end of the night.
Mind you, the music was excellent making this a highly enjoyable night despite the lack of chat. Still, the place didn't really encourage dancing, so all a bit pointless
Attending private parties generally creates an illusion of safety. As there were so many smaller parties, this was a perfect opportunity for pick pockets. Glad to report that I left with all my possessions, minus a few quid spent at the bar. Great caipirinha BTW.

Good place to meet with pals for a good burger and some fun. The burgers are definitely to my taste, I like my food to be a little less McDonald and I got it there. The pool tables are well spaced and in good condition, the place has a nice atmosphere, I'll be happy to go back there.

This place is very low brow, not recommended unless that's ur thing. If you're looking for pool tables and rnb hits you can't wrong.
